The Carleton Theatre Group

Carleton Grange has been home to the Carleton Theatre Group for more than 50 years (2006 was the groups Diamond Anniversary) Where a shakespearean Workshop at the Grange took place on Saturday the 19th of August.

We are a well established and very friendly group with a reputation for producing excellent plays. We perform 3 plays each year in March, June and October and hold a Christmas coffee evening every December, at which we perform sketches & recitals followed by a short pantomime. Members have the use of some of the best facilities in the area including a comfortable rehearsal room, large wardrobe & props collection and a well equipped stage with an auditorium that can seat around 100 people.

There are also plenty of social events and trips organised throughout the year for members. New members are always welcome. You don't need an interest in acting, there is plenty of opportunity to get involved in stage management, props, sound etc.
